The Artist – Mathieu Jean
I love exploring what’s beneath the surface, looking for what’s possible. The oceans influence places like Haiti, India, Kenya, and Indonesia and the colors are so substantial and primal. Beneath the ocean is a whole world ablaze with adventure and freedom and complete relaxation. In my travels diving off these coasts, exploring the coral reefs, I become a conduit and the paintings just pour out of me.”
